My name is Grant Kratz, and this is the story of SalesFlex.
I’ve spent over 30 years building and leading technology sales teams, across startups, scale-ups, and global leaders like IBM, TechnologyOne, and Telstra. From closing enterprise deals to coaching high-performing teams, I’ve seen firsthand what great selling looks like, and how vital it is to business success.
But I’ve also seen the cracks. The inefficiencies. The friction.

The traditional model, hire a full-time rep, hope they ramp quickly, absorb the risk, isn’t built for today’s world. It’s too rigid. Too slow. Too expensive. It doesn’t serve companies trying to grow. And it certainly doesn’t serve great salespeople caught in between roles, craving flexibility, or looking for a better way to work.
That’s when the idea struck me.
